The International Association of Plastics Distribution (IAPD) presented Redwood Plastics Corporation with two awards at the opening general session at the 58th Annual IAPD Convention on October 29 in Chicago, IL, USA.
Redwood Plastics was pleased to accept both the inaugural Gold Marketing Excellence Award, and the 2014 Education Circle of Champions Gold Award.
“I am proud of the investment [Redwood Plastics] has shown in educating their employees and giving them the tools to be better in their jobs,” said IAPD Education Committee Chair Stephanie Neugebauer.
“The award recipients this year have gone above and beyond in their companies to prepare and train their employees on properties, benefits, applications and lifecycle of plastics and are well-deserving of this achievement,” said IAPD CEO Susan E. Avery, CAE. “I am pleased to see the value our IAPD members hold for education and training as these initiatives will not only help advance the knowledge and expertise of our member company employees but the plastics industry as a whole.”
