Industrial Plastics and Paints

Industrial Plastics & Paints is a specialty Plastics and Hardware retailer with a focus on plastics, paints, and castable resins. With seven locations in Western Canada, each location has an in-house Custom Fabrication shop, and extensive inventory of products, they have recently celebrated our 72 years in service to our customers. Industrial Plastics & Paints has come a long way from it’s roots as a small two man fabrication shop on Fort Street in Victoria BC in 1951. Providing their customers with solutions to problems has always been their goal. Industrial Plastics & Paints Retail/Wholesale business grew from customer demand for products like Plexiglass, Lexan, ABS, Fiberglass & Epoxy resins, Reinforced Fabrics, and Containers. Then added Paints & Coatings to the offering as another problem-solving solution for waterproofing or substrate protection. They took the problem-solving mantra to the next level when we secured a purchase agreement from Ace Hardware giving their customers access to Ace’s more than 65,000 hardware items. Recently customers began asking if Industrial Plastics could supply 3D Printing Filament. They subsequently forged a relationship with Creality 3D. This connection has provided Industrial Plastics with a link to the Creality supply chain giving us claim to Western Canada’s largest Brick & Mortar 3D Printing stores. In addition to offering the Creality line of 3D products, they now offer the both the Hello3D filament line and the Vancouver Island based, Matter3D high-performance line of Filaments.
